TVS Motors has officially launched the new Raider sports commuter bike in the Nepali market. Jagadamba Motors, the sole distributor for TVS bikes and scooters in Nepal has opened the pre-booking of the motorcycle in Nepal.
Speaking of TVS Raider, it is a perfect 125cc commuter that comes along with segment-first features.
Well, let’s have a quick look at it.
TVS Raider Overview
First on, the new TVS Raider doesn’t have any resemblance to the existing TVS products. This one has completely new body components and other mechanics, making it a fairly new model.
The new Raider adopts a sporty exterior giving it an aggressive look.
At the front, we can see the new unique-looking LED headlamp with LED DRLs. On the sides, the turn indicators happen to be traditional halogen units.
The muscular fuel tank up front with a black stripe design contributes perfectly to its sporty appearance.
Now coming on to the interesting part, it is the new reverse-lit digital display provided in the bike, which is also the first on its segment. This display shows all the necessary bike information in a clear and readable format.
Moreover, this one gets an optional 5-inch TFT instrument cluster variant that offers TVS SMART XONNECT that has Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Assistance as well.
Coming on to the Engine and Performance, the new TVS Raider is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine churning out a power of 11.32PS alongside 11.2Nm of peak torque. This one’s mated to a 5-speed gearbox unit. Excitingly, the bike also features two Riding modes- Eco and Power (First-in-segment).
