Designed with alluring sporty looks, the Aprilia SR 150-Race has one of the most popular scooters in the Nepali market for a long time. While TVS had also recently launched its new sporty scooter, the TVS NTorq last year in Nepal.
In the short period of being public in the Nepali market, the TVS NTorq has been able to win the hearts of many scooter lovers in Nepal. However, adopting a sporty look with off-road capability, the Aprilia SR 150 Race has not been able to do a great market in Nepal as expected. However, the other model by Aprilia, Aprilia Storm-125 has been able to receive a good market compared to the SR 150.

TVS has recently rolled out its successful scooter, the NTorq 125 with some minor modifications in the Nepali market. Well, here we have gathered some analysis and comparison of these two popular sporty scooters in Nepal, i.e. the TVS NTorq 125 and the Aprilia 150 Race.
Smart Connectivity
TVS NTorq 125 is the first model with a smart connect technology scooter on its segment. The same feature has been continued by the company on its new version, the NTorq 125 Race Edition. The Torq’s console includes features such as helmet warning, trip-meter, ride-mode, digital speedometer, fuel gauge, and more.

Likewise, the smart connect feature included in it allows you to receive SMS, phone call, use GPS, and more.
On the other hand, the Aprilia SR 150 Race comes with a semi-digital instrument console that displays features such as a trip meter, speedometer, and fuel indicator.
Well, contrasting on these facets, the NTorq 125 leaves the SR 150 far behind as the scooter comes with all the latest connectivity features.

Engine and Performance
The TVS NTorq 125 is powered by a 124.79cc single-cylinder 4-stroke 3-valve engine which delivers a power of 9.4PS at 7500rpm along with a peak torque of 10.5Nm at 5500rpm.
Similarly, powered with a 154.8cc engine, the Aprilia SR 150 holds a 3-valve engine which generates a power of 10.2PS at 6750rpm along with a peak torque of 10.9Nm at 5000rpm.

As both of the scooters have a different engine displacement, the Aprilia 150 Race has more power than the NTorq 125. Additionally, coming on to the fuel tank capacity and Mileage of both these models,

Headlamp and other features
The NTorq 125 Race Edition is fully integrated with full-LED daytime running headlight and taillights while the Aprilia SR 150 Race gets a halogen headlamp.

Looks-wise, both of these models adopt an elegantly sporty look. Therefore, comparing the exterior, both Aprilia and TVS don’t seem to compromise on the looks.
Highlighting the braking features, both of these models come integrated with disc brakes on the front along with drum brakes on the rear.

Our Verdict
Well, analyzing the core features and price of both these scooters, we can undoubtedly claim the TVS NTorq to rest at the peak. The NTorq 125 is loaded with advanced features such as Smart Connectivity while the SR 125 lacks it. Also, on the price point, the NTorq 125 receives more plus points.
