Samsung has launched the 4G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A13. The smartphone brings a 50MP primary camera, 25-watt fast charging support, and is the successor of the last year’s Galaxy A12. Design and Display

Samsung Galaxy A13 features a 6.6-inch TFT display with FHD+ resolutions of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The screen has a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and an infinity-V notch for a selfie camera.

Compared to the squarish camera island on its predecessor, the new Galaxy A13 now lacks the camera island, just like its 5G sibling. It is offered in four different color options - Black, Blue, White, and Peach. Further, the device measures 8.8mm thick and weighs 195 grams.

Performance

The smartphone is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor that has a max clock speed of 2.2GHz. It is said to be an Exynos 850 chipset based on recent certifications. The chip can be paired with up to 6GB of RAM along and up to 128GB of internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

Samsung Galaxy A13 is fueled by a 5000mAh battery and supports a 25-watt fast charging. It boots on the One UI 4.1 shell based on Android 12.

Camera and Others

For optics, there is a quad-camera setup at the back. It features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and two 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors. Upfront is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone further features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics and Samsung Knox security.
