Bookings for MG ZS EV Long Range open in Nepal- Price, Features?

The booking of the Long Range version of MG ZS EV, the most successful electric SUV in Nepal, has been opened. Paramount Motors, the official dealer of MG, has opened the booking of the long-range model of the ZS EV.

The company has set the price of ZS EV long range at Rs 81.99 lakhs and opened the booking.

Previously, Paramount Motors took bookings by fixing the price of the long-range model at Rs 59.99 lakhs. However, the ZS EV did not come to Nepal after the government increased customs and excise duties on vehicles above 100 KW.

Now, the long-range model is launched with an increased price of about Rs. 22 lakhs.

2022 MG ZS EV in Nepal

MG has made extensive changes to the battery in the new ZS. The ZS, which used to have a battery of 44.5 kWh, now arrives with a 72.6 kWh battery in the facelift model.

The new MG EV can be fully charged just within 11 hours using a 7.4 kW charger. However, the vehicle also supports a 150kW capacity DC Charger. This charger can provide a range of 292 km on 37 minutes of full charging. 

MG's ZS EV is the best-selling electric vehicle in Nepal. The new ZS EV Facelift has undergone extensive changes from the front fascia to the alloy wheels. The company has also revised its dashboard.

It features redesigned bumpers, new headlamps and taillamps, a body-colored front grille, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, rear AC vents, and i-Smart Connect car technology.

The 51-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 400 kilometers on a single charge and the 72-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge.

However, WLTP's road tests have shown that its small battery has a range of 319 km and its large battery has a range of 440 km.
