Top 10 Flagship Android Smartphones
AnTuTu has unveiled its monthly list of the top 10 best performing Android smartphones. As expected, in January 2022, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 equipped smartphones have dominated the charts.
With the arrival of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphones in the market, the AnTuTu rankings have seen a lot of changes compared to the previous months. Out of the 10, the top 7 smartphones are powered by the latest chip of Qualcomm.
Leading the list is the iQOO 9 Pro with a whopping 1,020,974 average benchmark score. Its non-pro sibling, the iQOO 9 came second with a score of 1,020,156 points. Realme GT 2 Pro came third with 1,000,641 points. Similarly, the OnePlus 10 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro managed to book their place in the top 5.

Moto Edge X30 and Xiaomi 12 were the other Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphones on the list. Snapdragon 888+ powered Black Shark 4S Pro, which was the top-performing smartphone in the AnTuTu charts since October 2021, dropped to the eighth spot in January.

Top 10 Midrange Android Smartphones
On the mid-range category of Android smartphones, there’s barely any change over the last month. Snapdragon 778 G-powered iQOO Z5 still maintains its lead yet again despite stiff competition from other brands. The second spot was occupied by Honor 60 Pro, while the Oppo Reno 7 5G managed to get third place.
Nine of the ten mid-range smartphones on the list use a Snapdragon chipset. The only smartphone to come with a MediaTek chipset was the Dimensity 900 powered Oppo Reno 6 5G.
