Top 10 Flagship Android Smartphones
AnTuTu has unveiled its monthly list of the top 10 best performing Android smartphones. In December 2021, Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S Pro equipped with Snapdragon 888+ processor topped the charts with a whopping 874,702 average benchmark score, maintaining its lead since October.
On the second spot was another SD888+ equipped gaming phone Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro. Similarly, iQOO 8 Pro, Vivo X70 Pro+, and Oppo Find N managed to book their place in the top 5. All the smartphones on the top 10 list featured either a Snapdragon 888+ or Snapdragon 888 SoC.
According to AnTuTu, despite the launch of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphones like Xiaomi 12 and Moto Edge X30, the lack of sufficient data was the reason behind their absence from the list.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphones are expected to dominate the rankings for January 2022. Things will get even more interesting when Dimensity 9000 powered smartphones will start to roll out.

Top 10 Midrange Android Smartphones
On the mid-range smartphone category, Snapdragon 778G powered iQOO Z5 maintains its lead yet again despite stiff competition from other brands. The second spot was occupied by Honor 60 Pro, while the Oppo Reno 7 5G managed to get third place.
Nine of the ten mid-range smartphones on the list use a Snapdragon chipset. The only smartphone to come with a MediaTek chipset was the Dimensity 900 powered Oppo Reno 6 5G.
