Hyundai is soon up to wrapping its new Aura compact sedan. The firm will be unveiling their new car on December 19, 2019. The new Aura is based on Grand i10 Nios premium hatchback which made a recent debut earlier this year.
The Korean automaker has already made a test ride of their new compact sedan along the trails of India while it has already been spotted several times. The new Aura sedan shares somewhat similar characteristics as of the Grand i10 Nios. Coming to the quirky facets of the new sedan, the vehicle gets new-look boomerang LED lamps while the other design of the car is expected to follow the trail of a regular sedan.
More on, on the insides, the Hyundai Aura will get an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while the higher variants will also come with a wireless charging option.

Hyundai will release the new Aura sedan with three BS-6 compliant engine option. Like the Nios, the Aura will also get a 1.2-liter three-cylinder diesel and 1.2L petrol engine. However, Hyundai has also included a 1.0L turbo petrol engine in the Aura sedan as a new engine inclusion.
And speaking of the gearing option, the four-wheeler will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox for 1.2L Petrol and Diesel variants while there will also be an option for AMT. On the other hand, the 1.0L turbo-engine variant will only have a 5-speed manual gearbox transmission in it.

Well, these are some of the expected specs and features of the upcoming Aura compact sedan. However, Hyundai might officially launch the further details of the car around January 2020. The Hyundai Aura Sedan is expected to compete against the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Renault LBA, and Tata Tigor.
Speaking of the pricing of the vehicle, it cannot be confirmed yet until the official hearing from Hyundai itself.
