Introduction
Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has recently launched a new tourer bike - XPulse 200T 4V in India. It has now replaced the company’s XPulse 200T model in the Indian market. This new 200 cc machine is offered in three color themes along with some upgrades in design and features.
With that said, let’s discuss in brief the design, specs, features, and price of the latest Hero XPulse 200T 4V.
Design and Looks
Hero XPulse 200T 4V comes in three different color options – Met Shield Gold, Funk Lime Yellow, and Sports Red. All the paint themes get a dual-tone finish along with the neo retro-styled graphics. Design-wise, the bike looks similar to the 2V variant. However, some new design elements have been added to the motorbike. The tail luggage rack has now been replaced by a tubular pillion grab rail. Similarly, the bike features a new fly screen over the headlight assembly. Upfront, XPulse 200T 4V flexes a LED headlight, LED tail light, raised handlebars, and a colored visor.
Engine and Performance
The XPulse 200T 4V is powered by a 200 cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, 4-stroke, oil/air-cooled engine. The bike has seen the biggest upgrade in valve setup, from a 2-valve (in the discontinued model) to a 4-valve in this new XPulse 200T 4V. In terms of output, it delivers 19.1 PS of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm. Likewise, the engine is connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The motorcycle comes equipped with a muscular petrol fuel tank that can hold 13 liters of fuel. It has a ground clearance of 215 mm and a seat height of 800 mm. To prevent collisions, this bike incorporates disc brakes at both ends alongside a single-channel ABS braking system.
Features
The suspension duties of the XPulse 200T 4V are handled by telescopic front forks in conjunction with a 7-step adjustable mono-shock rear suspension. The tires are radial measuring 100/ 80 – 17 on the front and 130/ 70 – 17 on the rear.
Besides, Hero XPulse 200T 4V features LED headlight and tail lights, radial tires, a USB charging port, an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and call alerts, 17-inch alloy wheels, and turn by turn navigation function.
