Hero is soon planning on upgrading the engine of its popular model, the XPulse 200. The firm has been planning on upgrading the bike’s engine to oil-cooled one. Also, the upgrade will be made in-line with the latest BS6 engine norms in India.
The firm has been planning on upgrading its popular adventurer’s engine after the upgrade completion of all its other commuter models. Hero had also unveiled the new version of the Hero Glamour and Passion Pro at the Hero World 2020 show which happened on Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle was also showcased at the show.

Seemingly coming on to the upcoming upgraded engine XPulse 200, the bike is expected to provide more robust and top-notch performance. Besides this, the bike will also adopt a larger engine guard that protects the bike while riding off-road.
Currently, the carburetor engine version of the Hero XPulse 200 is being sold in the Indian market. However, after the engine upgrades in-line with the BS6 standard, the production of the carburetor engine version will be ceased.

The Hero XPulse 200 is powered by a 200cc air-cooled single-cylinder which delivers a power of 18.4bhp at 8000rpm along with 17.1Nm torque at 6500rpm. The bike comes with 1412mm and 220mm wheelbase and ground clearance respectively.
