After a long wait, HH Bajaj, the sole distributor for Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal has finally launched the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the Nepali market. The motorcycle was already expected to launch in the Nepali market after the end of lockdown but it made quite a wait.
As the 400cc Bajaj Dominar is already popular among the Bajaj fans, it is expected that the 250cc version will also allure the consumers. The bike was already launched in the Indian market nearly a year ago.
Bajaj Dominar 250 Overview
The new Bajaj Dominar 250 is powered by a 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers a power of 26.6bhp at 8500rpm along with a peak torque of 23.5Nm at 6500rpm. The engine offered in the new 250 Dominar is the same one used in the KTM 250 Duke. More on, the bike’s engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission with a slipper clutch feature. The bike is offered with a 13.5 L fuel tank.
Moreover, the suspension is handled by a 37mm USD Telescopic Fork on the front followed by an adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear. Similarly, for braking, the Bajaj Dominar 250 is integrated with 230mm and 300mm rear and front disc respectively. The brakes also come along with the dual-channel ABS feature.
