MG (Morris Garage) 's official distributor Paramount Motors which announced the pre-booking of the new MG ZS EV in Nepal on Sunday has been sold out until Ashar.
The company, which has increased the price by only Rs 1 lakh in ZS, which is available in more range than before, had taken bookings from all showrooms across the country 3 days before. Within these 3 days, more than 400 units bookings were received as per the company. And as the booking number has overflowed the car won’t be available for around 3-4 months as per the firm.
2022 MG ZS EV in Nepal
MG has made extensive changes to the battery in the new ZS. The ZS, which used to have a battery of 44.5 kWh, now has two battery options of 51.1 kWh and 72.6 kWh.
MG's ZS EV is the best-selling electric vehicle in Nepal. The new ZS EV Facelift has undergone extensive changes from the front fascia to the alloy wheels. The company has also revised its dashboard.
It features redesigned bumpers, new headlamps and taillamps, a body-colored front grille, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, rear AC vents, and i-Smart Connect car technology.
The 51-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 400 kilometers on a single charge and the 72-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge. However, WLTP's road tests have shown that its small battery has a range of 319 km and its large battery has a range of 440 km.
