Yamaha has finally unveiled the new 2021 Yamaha MT-15 in Thailand. Although the Japanese streetfighter shares the same mechanical specifications as its older sibling, there have been made few changes in the cosmetics.
First on, the motorcycle is now available in three additional color options, one being the Racing Blue color. This variant gets a blue scheme on the fuel tank followed by a light grey theme on the tank shrouds, and a headlamp cowl. Likewise, the other Metallic Black color gets a fully blacked-out color scheme with silver cowl upfront. And the last color option is the Metallic Grey option that features a combination of grey and white tone followed by hints of blue graphics.

Besides this, there has not been made any significant change on the two-wheeler. The 2021 Yamaha MT-15 is powered by the same 155cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers a power of 18.5bhp alongside a peak torque of 14.7Nm. Its engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission while it’s facilitated with a slipper and assist clutch option.

The 2021 Yamaha MT-15 is likely to compete against the KTM 125 Duke and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. Coming on to the launch of 2021 MT-15, it is likely to arrive in the Indian market within the next 2-3 months.
