Bookings open for new Force Gurkha, priced at Rs. 78.99 lakhs

Aayam Intercontinental, the official distributor of Force vehicles in Nepal, had earlier said that the price of Force Gorkha would be Rs 69.79 lakh. But later, after paying 100 percent customs duty on the basis of CC capacity, the new price has reached 78.99 lakhs for the SUV.
Although Force Gurkha entered Nepal a few days ago, the booking was not formally opened. Currently, the booking has been opened and its value has been fixed at Rs. 78.99 lakhs. The booking of this off-road SUV has also been officially opened.
2021 Force Gurkha in Nepal
The new Gurkha SUV gets a number of updates in the machine. The SUV now comes with a snorkel and a functional roof carrier. However, this feature was also showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.
The off-roader retains its boxy design followed by new panels with new glass panes for windscreen and windows. Moreover, new sets of fog lamps and LED headlamps with DRLs are also introduced. This one also gets a new set of alloy wheels and repositioned tur indicators.
Since it's a 4x4 Wheel Drive SUV, it will directly compete against the Mahindra Thar in its segment.
In terms of interior, the new Gurkha adopts a dark grey theme and upholstery with the same color. The front cabin features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Moreover, other key highlights include a 4-speaker sound system, a manual AC, front power windows, a 3-spoke steering wheel, and so on.
Safety is taken care of by dual airbags up front, rear parking sensor, tire pressure monitoring system, and ABS with EBD.
Now coming on to the primary facet, i.e. its motor, the new Gurkha SUV is powered by a 2.6L diesel engine delivering a power of 91PS alongside 250Nm of peak torque. Its engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission accompanied by a 4 wheel drivetrain system.
