After series of leaks and rumors following the internet about the new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 releasing soon in the global market, the rumors have finally come to an end as Xiaomi is finally launching its new Mi Note 10 on February 11, 2020. The device was already released in China in November 2019.
The new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the world’s first 108MP Penta camera smartphone. Let’s highlight the main features of the device.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Overview
Display and Design
The new Mi Note 10 flaunts a 6.47-inch Super AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. It also comes with a tiny waterdrop notch at the top along with a fingerprint scanner beneath the display. And on the top is placed a Gorilla Glass 5 to protect its curved display.
The phone looks quite similar to its popular flagship, the Huawei P30 Pro. The Gorilla Glass 5 is placed on both the front and back of the device. It is provided with a micro USB Type –C at the bottom along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker.

Camera
The camera of the phone is one of its most quirky facets as the device comes with a Penta-camera and it’s the world’s smartphone to hold this feature. The Mi Note 10 has the following camera setup:
- 108MP ultra-high-resolution camera (1/1.33” super sensor, 7P lens, f/1.69, 4-axis OIS)
- 5MP telephoto camera (10x hybrid zoom, 50X digital zoom, f/2.0, OIS)
- 12MP portrait camera (2x optical zoom, 1.4μm, f/2.0, Dual pixel autofocus)
- 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera (FOV 117°, f/2.2)
- 2MP macro camera (Macro zoom shooting)
The Quad-LED dual-tone flash integrated into the device can come very handy while taking shots at nights as it provides better lighting conditions. The primary lens on the Mi Note 10 is able to capture 4K videos at 30fps, FHD @ 30/60/120 fps) and HD (720p @ 960fps).
Likewise, on the front, you will be getting a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 which is expected to capture great selfies. Well, let’s look at that after the device’s release.

Processor and RAM
The new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is powered by Snapdragon 730G chipset which has been very much popular among entry-level gaming phones. And as the device primarily designed focusing on the camera features, so we can’t expect much from the chipset. And for handling the graphics, the device is provided by Adreno 618 GPU.
Coming on to the RAM and ROM, the device comes in three different variants: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, 12/256GB. However, we don’t think that all of these variants will be available in the Nepali market. And the device doesn’t have an option for expandable storage.
Battery and Other Features
The Mi Note 10 boasts a massive 5270 mAh battery which is absolutely a great feature of the device while it also supports Fast-Charging. And the other good part is that Xiaomi has also provided a room for 3.5mm headphone jack on the device which most of the new-gen smartphones have already lost.
Price and Availability
The new Xiaomi Mi Note 10 will be released officially on February 11, 2020. Coming on to the pricing, the Mi Note 10 is expected to come around a price tag of $469 for the 6/128GB variant.
