After the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic hit hard in India around a month ago, like any other sector, the auto industry of the country is also highly affected by the pandemic. Compared to the previous month, during the month of April, the car sales in India fluctuated a lot to negative growth.
Among all the car models, Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R rested at the top position in the April sales. Likewise, the carmaker’s other two models became the second and third position holder too. Overall, among all the OEMs, only Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki became the Top-10 Best car seller in the month of April-2021.
