Four Wheeler Brands You Can See at the NADA EV EXPO 2022

The first electric vehicle show in Nepal will be held in 2022, thanks to arrangements made by the Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). Starting today, September 22, the exhibition will run through September 25 at Kathmandu's Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall.

The 51 booths at the EV Expo will display electric vehicles from 16 two-wheeler, 1 three-wheeler, and 9 four-wheeler firms. The expo will also include, among others, four financial institutions, nine spare parts, and garage-equipment companies, two battery brands, and three tire manufacturers.

The four-wheelers that are participating in the NADA EV Auto Show will therefore be the topic of today's discussion.

 TATA

The official Tata Motors dealer in Nepal, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., sells a variety of automobiles nationwide. The Punch micro-SUV from Tata Motors Nepal will be on display at the following NADA EV Auto Show 2022. The H2X concept, shown by Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2020, served as the inspiration for the Punch. 

Additionally, TATA Nexon EV and Tigor EV will both be on display during the Expo. The vehicle's pricing ranges from Rs. 24 Lakhs to Rs. 1 Crore according to different models including electric and petrol/diesel variants.

HYUNDAI

Hyundai's official distributor in Nepal, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., offers a variety of vehicles with numerous variants. The Kona and Ioniq 5 electric cars, both of which have gained a lot of traction with consumers, are now sold in the Nepalese market by the company. The Ioniq 5 is Hyundai's shining armor at the NADA EV Auto Show 2022.

The Hyundai Venue Facelift, which just debuted in India, will soon arrive in Nepal. The vehicle may show up at the NADA Auto Show, according to Lakshmi Intercontinental, the official distributor for Nepal.

TESLA

Since many years ago, the renowned American electric-car maker Tesla has offered a wide variety of vehicles. The company is well known in the auto industry for offering high-end electric vehicles.

The sole distributor of Tesla vehicles in the Nepali market is Arete International Pvt. Limited. The company is currently responsible for acting as Nepal's exclusive distributor of Tesla electric vehicles. The Model 3 and Model Y will be the star attraction at the NADA EV Auto Show 2022.

NETA

Hozon Neta automobiles are being sold in Nepal by the newly established unit of Chaudhary Group, CG Motors. A brand-new EV, the Neta V, can generate a lot of conversation at the expo thanks to its unique features and sleek style. Now, Tata Nexon EV and Hozon Neta V will be in direct competition.

BYD

For BYD Cars in Nepal, Cimex Inc. is the official distributor. Three electric types have been offered by the company in Nepal thus far. At the NADA EV Auto Show, the brand-new BYD e6 will be on display. According to the model, the price ranges from Rs.38 lakhs to Rs.58 lakhs.

CHANGAN

The authorized Changan Automobiles distributor in Nepal is MAW Vriddhi. The model hunter and Alsvin may be on display at the NADA EV Auto Show, but we haven't heard any news on whether the new model will be exhibited at the expo or not.

JAC

The authorized distributor for Chinese automaker JAC in Nepal is Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd. The Golchha Organization's automotive division, Shangrila Motors, is also Nepal's sole importer and distributor of Ford, Peugeot, and Citroen vehicles. Although there is no news on it, the brand-new JAC T8, a pickup truck that has become increasingly popular, might be displayed at the Expo.

CITY SPIRIT

The official distributor of Jiayuan City Spirits electric vehicles in Nepal is Shree Eco Visionary Pvt. Ltd (SEV). The business built a showroom in Bafal, Kathmandu, Nepal, and has begun selling electric vehicles there. There are four models and two battery options, with prices ranging from Rs. 14 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs for each.

TREO

The Mahindra Group Company Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited presented the Treo, a three-wheeled auto-rickshaw powered by lithium-ion batteries. The trio will be sold in the Nepali market by Agni Energy, a licensed EV distributor for Mahindra. Customers can save Rs 200,000 yearly with Mahindra Treo compared to petrol auto-rickshaws, according to reports.
