Two electric scooters of Indian EV brand Komaki- SE and Venice will now be available in the Nepali market. As the official distributor for Nepal, Unity Trading Concern Pvt. Ltd. has started importing these scooters.
Komaki Electric Scooters in Nepal
Both scooters have a 3,000-watt motor. SE delivers 5,200 watts and Venice generates 4,900 watts of peak power. The SE has a 74 volt 40 Ah battery and the Venice has a 72 volt 40 Ah lithium-ion battery. On a single charge, SE will offer a range of 140 km and Venice 120 km. The battery can be fully charged within 4 hours.
SE has dual disc brakes and Venice has dual disc brakes with CBS. SE has a top speed of 70 kmph and Venice has a top speed of 85 kmph.
These scooters are said to give power equivalent to 125 cc scooters. Komaki SE will be available in 3 colors and Venice in 6 colors.
Moreover, these scooters feature regenerative braking, reverse assist, cruise control, parking assist, self-diagnosis, repair switch, mobile charging point, Bluetooth speaker, anti-theft lock, side stand sensor, passenger floorboard, and many other features.
The Komaki SE is priced at Rs 295,000 and the Komaki Venice is priced at Rs 310,000. Currently, the first 20 customers will get a discount of Rs. 20,000 while it is also available in exchange offer with up to an additional valuation of Rs. 20,000 on the old model. Similarly, free accessories and helmets as well as a zero percent interest rate facility are also available.
Komaki's showroom has been set up near the Chinese Embassy in Baluwatar. Umesh Adhikari, manager of Unity Trading Concern, said that the test ride of the scooter can be done by reaching the showroom. He said that the official launch of this scooter will be done in a few days.
