Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 Overview
Talking about the design of the ROG Strix Scar, it has a compact design with a dot-matrix on the back of an aluminum lid of the laptop which is highly customizable. The keyboard itself is an optical keyboard that uses infrared lasers for faster response and with a per-key RGB keyboard has a 1.9mm key travel distance. The variant available in Nepal comes with the processor of Ryzen 9 5900HX which is based and built on the Zen 3 TSCM’s 7nm processor and has a clock speed of up to 4.6GHz. ROG Strix Scar 15 has the graphics of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and Asus has optimized its ROG boost which allows the device to run GPU at 1645MHz and 115W also allowing an additional 15W to the GPU.
The laptop comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 SSD. The whole device is powered by a 90Wh battery capable of 100W fast charging. For wireless connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The new cooling system on the Scar 15 comes with six heat pipes, 0.1mm copper fins, and four heat and fan outlets. For ports, you get four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports along with one HDMI 1.0b port, one Ethernet, and one audio jack.
