Yatri Motorcycles starts constructing Fast Charging stations in Nepal

Yatri, a Nepali electric motorcycle manufacturer, is going to build charging stations all over Nepal. The company plans to build 150 charging stations across Nepal.

According to Batsal Pandey, CEO of Yatri Motorcycle, 25 charging stations will be constructed in the Kathmandu Valley in the first phase. By the end of December 2021, these 25 Yatri charging stations will be built in the valley, he said.

Yatri Nepal will build charging stations in the valley in the first phase and on the highway in the second phase. According to the company, it will build its own charging stations in cafes, restaurants, and shopping malls. Charging stations will be constructed in all the major cities outside the valley as well as in places like Kurintar, Malekhu, Muglin Damauli, Mulkot, Khurkot, Sindhuli, and so on. 

According to Pandey, preparations are being made to bring Yatri  P1 to the market targeting the upcoming New Year 2022. Similarly, a Yatri showroom is being constructed in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

 

The company is producing limited-edition P0 and adventure model P1. The limited-edition P-0 is priced at Rs 19.5 lakhs in Nepal. Only 50 units of the P-0 model will be manufactured. 

The Yatri P-1 has a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery. The company claims that this motorcycle can run 110 kilometers on a single full charge.

With a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the battery in this motorcycle can be fully charged within 1 hour when charged with fast charger and 6 hours when charged with a regular home charger.
