The Chinese tech giant, Vivo has been selling amazing smartphones in the market since quite a time now. With every new release they have been adding quite quirky features in their phones, be it camera, battery or other specs.
However, this time too, Vivo has recently launched their new amazing smartphone, the Vivo Y-17 which fits under the mid-range segment.
Overview
The most alluring part of the new Vivo Y-17 is its amazing triple cameras at the back although being a lower mid-range segment phone. Well, triple cameras have not been quite common on mid-range phones.
Speaking of the camera setup, the setup is packed with a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and 2 MP depth sensor. Similarly, for selfies, you get a 20MP single camera with f/2.0 aperture. More on, the new Vivo Y-17 comes with a big 6.35-inch IPS LCD display having HD+ resolution. Coming to the internals, powering the Y-17 is Helio P35 processor which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and has 128GB of internal storage.
The best part of the phone is its battery configuration as it comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery which also supports 18-Watt Fast Charging. Well, you don’t need to take hassle about the battery life if you own this phone as 5000 mAh is really something great to be in a smartphone.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). Other features of the phone include a rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, etc.
Overall, looking at the features, the phone is quite a good value for money while analyzing the budget side. The only little downside of the phone is its processor, Helio P35 which in fact is not a bad processor but compared with Snapdragon 660 which you mostly find in mid-range phones, it is quite average.
