Since the release of Android 13, the first substantial set of new features for the Pixel is now available. There are several significant new features included in the December 2022 Pixel Feature Drop. You now have all the information you need.
Feature Drops are yet another alluring possibility for Pixel owners and potential buyers, in addition to the benefit of having the purest, smoothest version of Android operating on your smartphone.
What would ordinarily just be a regularly scheduled update is now combined with some added features and device upgrades. Along with Google's security update, the December 2022 Feature Drop includes several cool Pixel-only features that aren't present on smartphones made by other companies like Samsung and Xiaomi.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro now includes VPN by Google One
The Google One VPN for Pixel 7 and 7 Pro is a prominent feature that was added as part of the December 2022 Pixel Feature Drop, but it has already been available for a few days.
This additional layer of connection, which was revealed during the live keynote presentation for the Pixel 7 series, is unaltered from the free VPN included with the 2TB+ tiers of Google One cloud storage.
The Google One VPN's main goals are to hide your traffic and IP address, lessen online tracking, and offer security on unprotected networks like free Wi-Fi. It is only accessible with "approved" Google Accounts, which exclude Workspace and some controlled accounts.
The firm promises that it "will never utilize your VPN service to monitor, record, or trade your online activities." To enjoy the feature, you must download the Google One app.
Additionally, you get a useful Quick Settings icon to connect to or disengage from Google's VPN service when you do this. The manufacturer has guaranteed that you will have access to the VPN throughout the whole five-year period of the Pixel 7 series' warranty.
Security and Privacy Settings

Google Recorder

Real-time speaker recognition is provided by the app, and Google Recorder initiates a new line whenever a speaker switch is detected. There are additional features here; including tools for modifying your transcription once you're done.
It is possible to "Split from here" on the transcript after selecting "Edit speaker labels" in the toolbar. By choosing a speaker, you can rename the passage, add a new speaker, or choose an existing speaker. This merely enhances one of Google's most subtly impressive applications with another helpful tool.
Fitbit Sleep Profile

Cough and Snore Detection
Cough and snoring detection is now enabled on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, making it easier to breathe. Pixel can help you identify factors that interfere with your sleep, such as snoring and coughing during the night or using your phone too close to bedtime. To quickly access these capabilities, enable Bedtime mode in the Clock and Digital Wellbeing settings.
Wallpapers
To commemorate the International Day of People with Disabilities, a new collection of wallpapers has been introduced to the Curated Culture section of the Google Wallpapers app.
This work, which was illustrated by novelist, poet, podcaster, and artist Morgan Harper Nichols, claims to have been influenced by actual interactions and experiences. The designs are ideal for your Pixel since they incorporate humans, animals, and vibrant, brilliant colors.
Brand-new Live Bloom wallpaper is also available; it will move and swing as your phone does. This adds to the floral wallpapers that were introduced last year along with the Pixel 6 series. It's a lovely option for your Pixel, with shades of lilac, purple, and pink.
Digital Car Key
Digital car keys are supported by a very small number of vehicles, but their usefulness is growing every year. NFC and Google Wallet have made it possible for you to unlock your car with only a tap of your phone since 2021. This feature, where accessible, was restricted to one individual per automobile.
Google has removed the user limitation and even lets you share your key with other people to boost smartphone car unlocking. For instance, if a friend or member of your family wants access to your car, you can give them a digital duplicate of that key if they have an iPhone or a Pixel device android Based 12 or higher. If you do distribute a digital key, you will be able to revoke access as well.
Grammar Check Gboard (available in French) and Live Translation
Additionally, Gboard now supports Grammar Check in French in addition to English and Spanish. Live Translate now supports Arabic, Persian, Swedish, Vietnamese, and Danish text translations in messaging apps (on Pixel 6 and newer devices) along with on-device search has improved on Pixel 4a and later devices, and Voice Message Transcription is now available on Pixel 4a and newer smartphones.
Upcoming Spatial Audio feature and other features
On the Pixel 4a and subsequent Pixel phones, a more potent search is now accessible, allowing you to locate what you're looking for quickly, whether it's an app, contact, screenshot, setting, or site result. The Pixel 4a and subsequent Pixel phones now are supported by Voice Message Transcription in Messages.
Spatial Audio on Pixel Buds Pro hasn't changed much, but Google has confirmed that improved audio features will be available in January 2023. Although head tracking and spatial audio should enhance the rich audio system experience, it is still unclear how much of a difference it will make with the majority of streaming applications.
