Nokia has recently announced the launch of its new device, the Nokia 2.3 at an event held in Cairo, Egypt. The company has also started the pre-order of their new device in the International market.
Holding a budget price tag, the new Nokia 6.2 flaunts a bigger display along with a massive battery which might certainly allure the budget smartphone seekers.
Well, let’s have a quick look at what the new Nokia 2.3 has to offer.
Nokia 2.2 Overview
The new Nokia 2.3 holds a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display which supports HD+ resolution. I wish, it could support FHD+. Well, we have to glance at the budget too and higher the resolution, faster the battery life is gonna be juiced up.
The device gets a fully plastic body while the frame is metallic. Coming to the edges, the Nokia 2.3 gets the regular curved design which we have been seeing on most of the new gen-Nokia smartphones. I, personally didn’t get much allured by its design. However, let’s dig into its hardware.
The Nokia 2.3 is powered by Helio A22 quad-core processor which is the same processor used to power its predecessor, the Nokia 2.2. On the GPU side, the device receives the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. I wished Nokia would have done quite a fair job on the processor part, this time. However, it didn’t bring much excitement on this part too as most of the budget phones these days hold competitive specs.
Furthermore, the device’s CPU is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Nokia might have at least integrated 3GB RAM on their new device. And, talking of the storage, you can expand it via microSD up to 512GB.
More on, coming to the camera features, Nokia has done quite a fair job on the device’s camera. The device packs a dual-camera setup on the rear which comprises a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, on the front, houses a 5MP selfie shooter that rests inside the front waterdrop notch.

The firm has added some cool additional features on the device’s camera of which “Recommended Shot” is one of the most alluring ones. This feature takes 15 shots before and after pressing the shutter button while the device itself recommends the best shots among all. Well, this feature is definitely coming on handy for photography lovers. Likewise, the additional low-light photography mode along with 5 effects (rain, butterfly, heart, classic, and star) are also some quirky add-ups to photography mode.
Finally, coming on to the powerhouse of the device, i.e. its battery, the device holds a big 4,000mAh battery which can definitely give 2-days durability on normal usage. The additional AI-Assisted battery feature on the device helps to enhance the device’s battery life to a huge extent as claimed by the company.
