The 2023 Jeep Compass has arrived in Nepal with a refreshed exterior. It gets a new LED signature headlamp along with distinctive LED DRLs. The all-new headlamp profile is comparatively slimmer than in previous models. The iconic Jeep grille has also been slightly redesigned, complemented by a newly designed front bumper with a large air dam. The car also features new alloy wheels, body-colored cladding, and new bumpers, giving it a remarkable look.
Interior and Features
The 2023 Jeep Compass has seen significant upgrades on the interior of the vehicle as well. On the inside, you’ll find a redesigned dashboard with a new three-spoke steering wheel, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.2-inch instrument cluster, a wireless charger, AC vents, HAVC controls, and ventilated front seats.

Engine and Performance
In the Nepalese market, Jeep Compass comes with a choice of two powertrains: a 1.4-liter Multi Air Petrol engine and a 2.0-liter Multi Jet Diesel engine. The petrol engine can generate 163 hp at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 2500-4000 rpm. It gets a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed Dual-Clutch transmission option, but it is only available in Front Wheel Drive.
The diesel engine, on the other hand, can generate a maximum power output of 170 horsepower at 3750 rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. It comes with two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. Additionally, it is offered in both Front Wheel Drive and 4 Wheel Drive variants.
Furthermore, the new Jeep Compass claims a top speed of 202 kilometers per hour.
Additional Details
The SUV's suspension duties are handled by a combination of McPherson Strut and multi-link type suspension. The vehicle has a length of 4405 mm, width of 1818 mm, and height of 1640 mm. it sits on a 2636 mm long wheelbase. Moreover, its ground clearance is 178 mm and it has a curb weight of 1641 Kg.
On the safety front, the new Compass gets up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, ESC, traction controls, 360-degree view camera, reverse parking sensor, and Hill Assist controls.
