iQOO U5 5G Overview

Design and Display

iQOO U5 5G features a 6.58-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz fast refresh rate and has a water-drop style notch. There’s a rectangular camera module on the back panel of the smartphone and it comes in three color options of Dark Black, Magic Blue, and Silver White.

Performance and Camera

Running on Android 11 based iQOO UI 1.0, the U5 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor. It can be paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and there’s only a single 128GB storage option here.

For optics, the dual rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Upfront is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Others

iQOO U5 5G packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. This 5G smartphone also features a microSD card slot for storage expansion. iQOO has kept most of the other specifications of the U5 5G under wraps.

iQOO U5 5G Price and Availability

iQOO has not shared the pricing details of the iQOO U5 5G, but the device will be up for pre-orders starting December 24 in China. The device is said to feature three memory configurations of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. iQOO has also not announced any details regarding the global availability of this smartphone.
