Overview
Design
- Exterior- A black radiator grille, projector headlights, and LED DRLs incorporated into the body-colour front bumper highlight the facia. The car has sweptback styling that is accentuated by a pair of 15-inch alloy wheels with diamond-cut accents and a shark fin antenna. New LED taillights accentuate the back area.
- The new Grand i10 Nios has dimensions of 3,815mm in length, 1,680mm in width, and 1,520mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,450mm long.
- Interior- The interior of the car has been updated with new seat fabric designs and patterns, glossy black interior trim, leather-wrapped steering wheels and gear knobs, chrome finishes on the gear knob and parking lever tips, metal finishes on the inside of the door handles, footwell lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new 3.5-inch instrument cluster, and Type C fast charging USB ports. Voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, audio and Bluetooth controls mounted on the steering wheel, etc.
- Inside, the dashboard design is the same as the previous model with some significant improvements, such as switching back to an analog instrument cluster with a MID from the pre-facelift car's part-digital unit.
Engine
A 1.2-liter Kappa engine, which is offered in both gasoline and CNG versions, will power the 2023 Grand i10 Nios. The gasoline engine produces 113.8Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and 82 horsepower at 6,000 rpm.
This engine generates 95.2Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and 68 horsepower at 6,000 rpm while operating on CNG. The hatchback comes with a five-speed manual transmission as standard, and the AMT is only available in gasoline form.
