Google stopping targeted ads!
Google is planning to stop selling ads that depend on our web browsing history. Also, they plan not to make any tools that will track our data across their products.

One of the largest companies in the world Google, who made a fortune monetizing browsing data now plans to change its core business model. An announcement was made on March 3 to stop targeted ads based on browsing history. Previously they also announced that they were committed to removing support for third-party cookies in Chrome, which are used by partners and website advertisers to track a user's internet browsing habits.
In an announcement published by Google, David Temkin, Director of Product Management, Ads Privacy and Trust for Google writes," People shouldn’t have to accept being tracked across the web in order to get the benefits of relevant advertising. And advertisers don't need to track individual consumers across the web to get the performance benefits of digital advertising."
If Google remains true to its word then the future of the ads business of Google will be a lot different than what we have seen till now.
As astonishing it may seem, Google might be trying to avoid regulations around data privacy as they face increasing queries from different governments.
It will be a big step by google on being more Privacy Concern.
