Yamaha Niken is the first three-wheeler unveiled by Yamaha. The new Yamaha Niken was first introduced at Tokyo Moto Show 2017. The vehicle was also unveiled at 2018 EICMA in Milan, Italy. The three-wheeler is a unique blend of design and performance that it resonates a divergent image of versatility.
Talking of its mechanical specifications, the 2019 Yamaha Niken, the vehicle somewhat inherits the specs of the Yamaha MT-09. It gets two 15-inch wheels on the front along with modified cycle parts that helps its body to lean around the corners more easily. As the wheels of the bike are connected with two separate pairs of an inverted fork, so it normally works as a regular two-wheeler while drifting around corners.
The trike’s engine produces 114bhp at 10000rpm and 87.5 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm. Similarly, glancing on the other features, the Yamaha Niken gets a standard slip and assist clutch, three-mode traction control and a quick-shifter. Additionally, there is also the cruise control feature which is effective from fourth gear while accelerating over the speed of 50 kmph.
The Niken is the first trike (three-wheeler) by Yamaha while the company is planning on working for this segment in the future too. Also, the firm confirms that the design and concepts from the three-wheeler are inherited from the Norwegian firm, Brudelli.

Price and Availability
The 2019 Niken GT is now available in some if the international markets like the US and UK but not in other places. However, the company as of now is producing the Niken in limited numbers and has similar plans even for the 2019 Niken GT.
