Xiaomi unveils Mi CC9 Pro; Packed with 108MP lens | Innovation in smartphone cameras

After series of rumors rumbling around the Internet, Xiaomi has finally confirmed the official release of their upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. Well, this might a great piece of news for the Mi fans. The official confirmation of the device by the firm points that we might soon be able to see a debutant five cameras smartphone and most importantly the one with a 108MP lens.

Well, let’s have a quick overview of the device.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Overview

The new Mi CC9 Pro flaunts a 6.47-inch Super AMOLED display which supports Full HD+ resolution. The device has curved edges on the side to provide a good grip over the hand.

Furthermore, coming to the processor, the device is powered by Snapdragon 730G with an octa-core processor. The phone is available in two different RAM variants: 6GB or 8GB while the storage options are also two: 128GB or 256GB.

And now coming to the major highlight of the device, which is its camera, the new Mi CC9 Pro is packed with an array of 5 cameras. More on, with the 5 lenses, you will also get two pairs of LED flashes on the rear side. On the top is a 108MP primary lens which uses the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. Similarly, there will be an f/1.7 8P lens too on the top variant. Likewise, you will also receive a telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom that expands up to 50x. A 20MP ultra-wide lens with 117-degree FOV will also be integrated into the device.

Meanwhile, on the smallest scene, you will also get a 2-10cm macro lens which can definitely offer you to capture great close-up photographs. Finally, on the bottom part, you won’t get the regular 2MP depth sensor like on most of the smartphones these days. Instead, Xiaomi has added a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2X zoom. Well, the array of top lens integrated on the device can definitely make it worth a god of camera phones. Similarly, you will get a 32MP selfie shooter housed inside the top-notch of the device.

Surprisingly, the new Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has also topped the DXOMark rating with a score of 121. However, conducting raw analysis on the device’s camera and comparing it with other flagship devices such as the iPhone 11 or the Pixel 4 camera, the Mi CC9 Pro can’t still rest at the peak. 

Similarly, Xiaomi has not compromised on the powerhouse of the device too. The new Mi CC9 Pro is packed with a massive 5260mAh battery which supports 30W Fast Charging which won’t upset us from draining the battery quickly at tough times. Well, Xiaomi seems to disclose its greatest hit at the end of 2019.
