Our Verdict
Looking and contrasting at the base variants of both these cars, we feel that Datsun Redi-GO has done a good job in the exteriors as this one sports an attractive styling theme and high ground clearance. On the other side, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso also doesn't fail to impress us in terms of looks and SUV-like styling. Similarly, coming on to the interior, both of these have their ups and downs. In some factors, Redi-Go seems good while in some other facets like convenience, S-Presso is alluring.
However, in terms of the safety features, the Redi-GO can definitely take home the award.
And in the engine performance, the Suzuki S-Presso, being equipped with a 998cc engine is definitely powerful than the Redi-Go's 799cc engine in the base variant.
Pricing-wise, the Suzuki S-Presso comes around Rs. 50,000/- cheaper than the Datsun Redi-Go.
