Tata Nexon Sales Number
Tata Nexon has remained the leader in the SUV segment of India. In October, Tata Motors sold 13,767 units of Nexon. This was a 20 percent sales jump compared to October last year.
The Nexon rivals the likes of the Ford Ecosport and the Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The price of Tata is slowly trying to capture the premium market.
The Tata Nexon is priced lower than both the Ford Ecosport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. As such, in a country like Nepal where pricing is the key, Tata Motors has a really big advantage.
But it's not the only pricing that makes this compact SUV a better option. It also features premium features which include rear A/C vents and a premium audio system. This compact SUV also has a ground clearance of 209mm which is larger than both its competitors.

There are two engine options available- a 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron Petrol engine and a 1.5L Turbocharged Revotorq Diesel engine. The former engine delivers a power of 120PS at 5500rpm alongside a peak torque of 170Nm at 4000rpm. Moreover, the latter one churns out a power of 110PS alongside a peak torque of 260Nm at 2750rpm.
As per gearbox options, there is a 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed AMT option.
