After the massive success of its flagship, the Redmi K20 Pro, the Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi has recently launched its new flagship, the Redmi K30. As most of the Xiaomi fans were expecting a 5G model from the firm, looks like Xiaomi had heard them out as the firm has released the 5G variant of the new Redmi K30, well that’s absolutely amazing, isn’t it? The device comes in both 4G and 5G variants.
Well, let’s have a quick overview of the device and look out if Xiaomi moved forward any upgrades and improvement in their new flagship.
Redmi K30 and K30 5G Overview
The new Redmi K30 5G is powered by Snapdragon 765G which comes bearing 1 Cortex A76 prime core @2.4 GHz, another Cortex A76 performance core @ 2.2. GHz and 6 efficiencies Cortex A55 based cores @1.8 GHz. Similarly, the 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor.
Coming to the RAM, the device comes in two different RAM variants: 6GB and 8GB. More on, there are 3 variants for internal storage: 64G, 128GB, and 256GB. Both of these models have the same RAM and ROM variants while both are UFS2.1 storage supportable too. More on, both the models boast a 4500mAh battery while the fast charging tech is different between the two. The 5G model comes with 30W Fast-Charging support while the 4G models hold 27W fast charging.
Highlighting on the display, the Redmi K30 flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ punch-hole display which comes with an aspect ratio of 20:1. The display also has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

And, finally coming on to the camera, the Redmi K30 boasts a quad-camera setup at the rear which comprises a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 5MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. Similarly, on the 4G variant, the 5MP macro camera is replaced by the 2MP macro lens while the remaining lens remains the same.
Likewise, on the front, the device houses a dual-camera setup which comprises a 20MP selfie shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Well, Xiaomi has done quite a fair job on the selfie camera.
Additionally, other features such as Dual-frequency GPS and SA+NSA 5G network support is available on the 5G model. And as Xiaomi’s signature feature, the 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster are still available in the Redmi K30.

Price and Availability
The new Xiaomi flagship, the Redmi K30 is now only available in China while its release date in the international market has not been confirmed yet.
