Xiaomi has recently launched its new budget level smartphone, the Redmi 8 in Nepal at an aggressive price range. The device is now officially launched around all the Mi offline retailers in Nepal. Also, the firm is planning on releasing the highly awaited, Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro around next week.
Well, let’s have a quick overview of the device.
Xiaomi Redmi 8 Overview
The new Redmi 8 flaunts a 6.22-inch HD+ screen with corning Gorilla Glass5 protecting its top. More on, coming to the looks of the device, the Redmi 8 looks quite more stylish and refined compared to Redmi 7.
Additionally, the device is integrated with a dual-camera setup on the back which comprises a 12MP primary lens with Sony IMX 363 sensor (f/1.8) and a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, on the front, you will get an 8MP selfie shooter housed on the top-notch.
More on, the device is powered by Snapdragon 439 processor which is somewhat less powerful than the Snapdragon 632 chipset which you get in its predecessor (Redmi 7). We don’t have any clue why Xiaomi had to bring inferiority to the device’s processor. Additionally, the device’s CPU is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Additionally, Xiaomi has also provided a dedicated slot for microSD. It is expandable up to 512GB.
Furthermore, highlighting on the powerhouse of the device, i.e. its battery, the Redmi 8 is integrated with a massive 5000mAh battery which supports 18 along with type C port for charging. Well, in this game, Xiaomi has improved a lot.
