Huawei P50 is the vanilla model of the Huawei P50 series smartphones. It brings a Snapdragon 888 processor, both fast wired and wireless charging capabilities, Leica-branded optics, and much more. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, and the expected price of the Huawei P50 in Nepal.

Huawei P50 is priced at CNY 4,488 for the base 8/128GB variant and CNY 4,988 for the higher 8/256GB variant in China.

Huawei P50 Overview

Huawei P50 comes with a 6.5-inches OLED display. Unlike the pro model, the vanilla P50 has a flat display instead of curved. With a screen resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels, the device supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It weighs 181 grams, measures 7.9mm thick, and is IP68 dust/water-resistant.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. This 5nm processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Although the chipset is capable of 5G, the device is limited to only 4G connectivity. For the operating system, the device has HarmonyOS 2.0. The Pro model of the Huawei P50 provides the option of both Snapdragon 888 and Kirin 9000 chipsets.

Huawei P50 features a triple-camera setup at the back and a center punch-hole cutout for a 13MP selfie camera. The triple-camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP telephoto with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and a 13MP ultrawide. The optics here are Leica-branded and both the front and back camera setup are capable of taking 4K videos.

Powering the device is a 4100mAh battery that supports 66-watt fast charging and 50-watt fast wireless charging. The device features an under-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, it uses wireless connectivity of dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
