Nepal General Marketing Private Limited (NGM), the sole distributor Hero Motors in Nepal has recently launched their new scooter, the Hero Destini 125.
The company had first decided to name the scooter as Hero Duet 125 but later renamed it to Destini 125. The new Destini 125 is the first-ever 125cc scooter by Hero which has hit the two-wheeler market. Also, it can be said that the new Destini 125 has marked Hero’s first entry into elite 125cc scooter division.
Overview
The new Hero Destini 125 is built with attractive design, attached to a powerful engine with the latest technology and gives undoubtedly provides an elegant performance. Speaking of the design, the Destini 125 is built with a minimal design embracing soft lines and curves on outer structure. The side panels and front apron of the scooter are somewhat similar to that of Honda Activa 125. The scooter also comprises an external fuel filler cap, a mobile charging port, a digital speedometer cum. dashboard, a side-stand indicator as well as a service-due indicator.
Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 125cc “Energy Boost Engine” which produces a power of 8.7bhp @ 6750 rpm and 10.2Nm peak torque @ 5000 rpm. What’s new in the Destini 125 is the Hero’s ‘i3S start-stop’ technology which it has used in most of its other two-wheelers. This technology helps the two-wheeler to save-fuel during traffic jams. More on, the Destini 125 will also get a front disc brake but only in the top-spec variant while the rudimentary Integrated Braking System will be featured on the standard variants. The telescopic suspension unit used in the scooter provides balanced and easier rides to the rider while riding in sloppy areas.
Talking of the colors, the scooter will be available in four different color options- black, red, brown and white. The Hero Destini 125 will rival against other 125-cc scooters on the market like the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and TVS NTorq 125.
