DJI launched its new DJI Air 2S drone in the US. the new drone is a successor to the DJI Mavic Air 2. Today we will be looking at the DJI Air 2S price in the US which is $999 (Roughly Rs. 1,20,000 converted in Nepal). Also, we will go through all the specifications and features of the new DJI drone along with the DJI Air 2S price in Nepal and its availability.
DJI Air 2S Overview and Features
Starting on the DJI Air 2S is a foldable drone that is powered by a 3500mAh battery which gives the drone 31 minutes of flight time with no wind. With a maximum hovering time of 30 minutes, the flight speed of the drone is 19 meters per second and can fly up to a distance of 18.5km. The controller for DJI Air 2S has a battery life of six hours and the controller uses OcuSync 2.0 for transmitting signals. The DJI Air 2S drone is equipped with GPS, GLONASS, a single compass, and 8GB of storage which is expandable to 256GB through a microSD card. The drone can connect to its controller over 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency and has the ability to change and choose the best frequency.
Going on to the camera of Air 2S is where you can see the major upgrades. You get a 20MP 1-inch CMOS sensor with an f/2.8 lens on the DJI Air 2S. With a wide field of view of 88 degrees, the drone has an ISO range of 100 to 12,800 in manual mode. The drone can take 5,472x3,648 pixels images in 3:2 aspect ratio or 5,472x3,078 pixels images in 16:9 ratio. With a bit rate of 150Mbps, the Air 2S can record videos up to 5.4K at up to 30fps and 4K videos at up to 60fps. Also, you can record 1080p videos at 120fps.
Measuring at 180x97x77mm while folded the drone is 183x253x77mm while unfolded and the drone weighs 595 grams. DJI Air a 2S also comes with precision measurement sensors facing forward, backward, upward, and downward. Also, you get dual vision sensors along with a Time of Flight sensor (ToF) which allows the Air 2S to sense obstacles in all four directions.
DJI Air 2S Price in Nepal and Availability
Although the price and availability of the drone in the international market are not announced yet, the DJI Air 2S price in the US is $999 (Roughly Rs. 1,20,000 converted in Nepal) for the standard package which comes with one battery and three pairs of low noise propellers. For the Fly More Combo, you need to pay $1,299 (Roughly Rs. 1,56,000 converted in Nepal). The $1,299 Combo will give you three batteries, six pairs of low noise propellers, an ND filter set, a battery charging hub, a battery to power bank adapter, and a shoulder bag.
The expected price for DJI Air in Nepal is Rs. 1,40,000 for the standard package, whereas the expected price for the Fly More Combo package is Rs. 1,90,000.
