Notch Less iPhones!!!

Reports coming out from one of the trusted sources when it comes to Apple-related products, MacRumors in their article stated a well-respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the iPhones of 2023 will adapt an under-display Face ID system and a new periscope telephoto lens. If the reports come true we will see a notch-less fullscreen iPhone in the year 2023.

The notch of an iPhone which was first introduced with the iPhone X back in 2017 is basically there to hold a selfie camera. Since the notch in a smartphone was introduced many smartphone companies are trying to remove the notch completely from their phones. Many smartphone manufacturers have come up with different ideas like a pop-up camera, a rotating camera, and an under-display camera. Now the tech giant Apple also seems to abandon the notch from their iPhone by implementing an under-display camera system.

The rumors about the next-gen iPhones don’t just stop there. Rumors of Apple making the notch smaller on the 2021 iPhone is also growing and according to Kuo by 2022 iPhones will completely ditch the notch for a punch-hole design to house the selfie camera. Also, the under-display fingerprint scanner for the more recent iPhone 13 is heavily rumored. Adding on the plan of Apple to remove the iPhone Mini model from the 2022 iPhones lineup is also one of the details shared by Ming-Chi Kuo.

The implementation of the under-display Face ID system is an advanced task to achieve as the camera system should be able to recognize faces through the display of the smartphone. Few of the Smartphone makers have tried this before but for no better end result. But one of the smartphone companies that can pull off the under-display Face ID system is Apple. The tech company always seems passive when it comes to innovative ideas related to smartphones compared to other smartphone brands but when they come up with some ideas they perfectly implement them for a great user experience.
