Asus has launched the ROG Magic X 2-in-1 NoteBook in China. The device is powered by Intel’s 12th Gen processors and also features NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series GPU. In this post, we’ll be looking at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Asus ROG Magic X in Nepal.

Asus ROG Magic X Overview

Design and Display

Asus ROG Magic X features a 13.4-inch touchscreen panel with up to 4K resolutions. The display here supports a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision HDR, 500 nits of peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. There's also support for Adaptive-Sync technology and Pantone Color Certification.

As previously mentioned, the ROG Magic X is a 2-in1 NoteBook, as it can be used as a laptop or a tablet. There's a detachable keyboard with AURA RGB Backlight.  Further, the device weighs 1.2 kilograms and measures around 12mm in thickness.

Performance

In terms of processor, the ROG Magic X brings three different 12th Gen Intel CPU options - i5-12500H, i7-12700H, and i9-12900H. The base i5 model is paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics, while the i7 and i9 models get the GeForce RTX 3050 and 3050Ti graphics cards, respectively. 

There's also support for an external XG Mobile Docking Station that comes equipped with GeForce RTX 3080 GPU at 150W TGP. For memory, you get 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

Battery and Others

Asus ROG Magic X packs a 4-cell 56Wh battery and comes with a 100W power adapter. There's a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button for biometrics. 

Connectivity options on the device include one USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, a Thunderbolt 4, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. The laptop also supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity.

Asus ROG Magic X price in China starts at CNY 8,999 for the base Core i5 model and goes up to CNY 13,499 for the top i9 model. If the laptop launches here in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.1,85,000.
