Apple Watch Series 8 is Expected to Launch with a Bigger Display than its predecessors.

In 2022, Apple will release the 'Extreme Sports' Apple Watch, which will have a larger display, metal casing, and longer battery life. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is working on an "extreme sports" version of the Apple Watch with a larger screen and a metal case that can withstand more damage.

In this article, not only are we talking about the expected new updates on Apple Watch 8 Series but also comparing it with previous ones.

While the Watch Series 7 has a display size of up to 1.9 inches, Ross Young predicts that Apple will increase the size of the Watch Series 8 to within touching reach of 2-inches.

According to Young, Apple will increase the Watch Series to 1.99-inches with the Watch Series 8, a 5 percent increase over the Watch Series 7.

In comparison, the Watch Series 7 has a 1.9-inch display, up from 1.78-inches in the Watch Series 6. In addition, with the Watch Series 4, Apple began providing a 1.78-inch display, having previously equipped the Watch Series 3 with a 1.65-inch panel for the larger variant.

The Apple S7, slated to be introduced as the Apple S8, had no performance increase over the Apple S6, which debuted in the Watch Series 6.

As we learned in May, Apple will distinguish the Watch Series 8 from its predecessors with other upgrades such as a new body temperature sensor.

Expected Updates/Information on Watch Series 8

Apple has a long tradition of holding iPhone and Apple Watch events on the first or second Tuesday of September. However, because Labor Day is on Monday, September 5 this year, the Apple Watch Series 8 release date is likely September 13 - assuming no unexpected delays.

  • The Watch Series 8 is expected to keep the 45 mm chassis.
  • In other words, the flatter shape should allow Apple to use a more prominent display without expanding the total footprint of the wristwatch.
  • Regrettably, the Watch Series 8 is expected to use the same basic chipset. Apple will equip the Apple Watch Series 8 with an S8 chipset, the same one that debuted with the Apple Watch Series 6 and was reused with the Series 7. That implies the Apple Watch Series 8's performance will not suffer.
  • The smartwatch may advise them to consult their doctor or use a special thermometer.
  • According to the source, the Apple Watch's body-temperature capability will not provide consumers with a precise readout like a forehead or wrist thermometer. If the wearable detects a fever, it will alert you.

More about Apple Watch Series 7

The Apple Watch Series 7 is outstanding. For a premium wristwatch, the Apple Watch design hasn't altered much in previous years (and, to be honest, this year's features aren't much of an advance if you're coming from the Series 6). This watch is adjustable and fashionable, offering two sizes, five colors, and a limitless variety of cases and bands. The giant screens and faster charging are the Series 7's two most considerable improvements. The most recent tools launched with watchOS 8 this autumn, like Focus Mode and the overhauled pictures app, will function as smoothly as possible. However, no new features or applications are created specifically for this model.
