After a series of leaks and rumors surfacing across the internet, Samsung has finally unveiled the all-new Galaxy S20 and S20+. The new S20 Series is the successor to its predecessor, the S10 Series.

Well, as the new Galaxy S20 and S20+ was one of the most anticipated flagships of Samsung, let’s find out if the device is really worth our expectation and the luxury price tag that flagships come with.

 

Samsung Galaxy S20 Overview

First on, speaking of the new Samsung Galaxy S20, the device flaunts a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen which supports 120hz refresh rate and 1440p+ resolution. Highlighting on the body, the S20 looks almost identical as its sibling S10, however, in reality, it is slightly taller than the S10.

And when it comes to Samsung, we can’t move on without talking about its camera. The Galaxy S20 comes with the following camera configurations:

Rear:
- Wide-angle: 12MP, 1/1.76", ƒ/1.8, 1.8µm
- Telephoto: 64MP, ƒ/2.0, .8µm
- Ultra-wide: 12MP, ƒ/2.2, 1.4µm

3x hybrid optical/digital zoom, Super-Resolution Zoom up to 30x

Front:
- 10MP, ƒ/2.2, 1.22µm, AF

And the fun part is that the device uses the same 64MP primary sensor to capture 8K videos. In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy S20 doesn’t seem to comprise.

More on, the device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset while it also comes with Exynos 990 chipset which might vary according to regions. The new Galaxy S20 also features 5G connectivity. Likewise, speaking of the memory, the device comes in two different RAM variants: 8/12GB while for the ROM, you will only get an option for 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 packs a 4000mAh battery which supports 15W Fast Charging. Undoubtedly, both the Galaxy S20 Series is water as well as dust resistance.

Coming on to the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a starting price tag of $899 for base variant [8/128GB]. And this is the price for the 4G model, for the 5G model, you will have to pay $999.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ Overview

The Galaxy S20+ features a slightly bigger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support. The internal screen features of the device are very much identical to the S20.

Coming on to the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ inherits identical camera features as the Galaxy S20. However, this one also includes the DepthVision sensor which S20 lacks. The selfie camera is also of the same pixels and features.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ is also powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor as its sibling S10. In terms of RAM and ROM, the device comes in two different variants: 8/128GB and 12/256GB. You can further expand the memory via microSD up to 1TB.

The Galaxy S20+ packs a slightly powerful battery, i.e. 4500mAh compared to the S20. And speaking of the price, the base variant [8/128GB-5G] of Samsung Galaxy S20+ costs you $1199.
