Redmi K40 may launch as POCO in Nepal?
Xiaomi launched its Redmi K40 series in china which consisted of 3 phones k40, k40 pro, and k40 pro plus. However, Xiaomi might not launch its base variant k40 as Redmi k40 but it can be launched under POCO phone in Nepal and globally. A device under POCO branding on the certification site was spotted with the model number of Redmi k40.
This is not the first time Xiaomi has rebranded its phones. As listed in Infocomm media development authority (IMDA) a device under Poco phone was listed with the model number of Redmi k40 and it’s likely that the Redmi k40 might come as a POCO phone here in Nepal and globally. Xiaomi is yet to make an announcement on the Redmi K40 launch globally.

Redmi K40 specifications
As for the specification of the Redmi k40, it comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ with a resolution of 1,080x2,400 pixels with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone holds a 4,520mAh battery that comes with support for 33W fast charging
Talking about its camera, the Redmi K40 features a quad-camera setup with 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, you would get a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies and for connectivity, the Redmi K40 includes support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port.

Redmi k40 price in Nepal (Expected)
Although it’s not official yet but looking at the price Redmi K40 launched in China we can expect it to arrive in Nepal at the following price.
