Oppo has added a new member to its Reno 6 series, called the Oppo Reno 6 Lite. The smartphone brings a Snapdragon 662 SoC, an AMOLED display, and a large 5000mAh battery. Although the Reno 7 series is out, Oppo is still adding new smartphones to its Reno 6 series. Design and Display

Oppo Reno 6 Lite features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate in gaming mode, and has 800 nits of peak brightness.

The smartphone comes in two different color options - Rainbow Silver and Starry Black. It measures 7.95mm thick and weighs 175 grams.

Performance

Running on Android 11 based ColorOS 11, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Users can also expand the storage using a MicroSD card.

Camera

For optics, the triple rear camera setup of the smartphone consists of a 48MP primary sensor with 79-degree FoV and autofocus (AF). It is then paired with a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfies and video calls are handled by a 16MP camera housed in the punch-hole notch on the display.
