Brace Yourselves up as the prolonged wait by the OnePlus fans is now over as the firm has finally launched its new flagship, the OnePlus 8. And when it comes to OnePlus, since the company’s very start in the year 2013, it never has had to look back as it holds a great amount of share in the smartphone market since then.
And as the brand itself is also very well known to be a flagship killer of its kind as its range of smartphones adopt tons of alluring features at a reasonable price range, i.e. premium specs at low cost.

OnePlus 8 Overview
First on, the new OnePlus 8 flaunts a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display which supports Full HD+ resolution. The display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz. More on, this one is the first to boast punch-hole cutout display at the top which houses its front camera.
The new OnePlus 8 is powered with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset. As per RAM, the device comes in two variants: 8GB and 12GB. Similarly, in terms of internal storage too, you will get two options: 128GB/256GB. It also supports UFS 3.0.
Accordingly, speaking of the camera, the device packs a triple camera setup on the back which comprises a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary lens accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, you will get a 16MP selfie shooter which is housed at the top punch-hole cutout of its display.

Coming on to the powerhouse of the device, i.e. its battery, the new OnePlus 8 packs a massive 4300mAh battery that also supports Warp Charge 30T. However, this one doesn’t come with a wireless charging feature and IP68 rating which is a sad part. As per color options, you will get three options: Onyx Black, Interstellar Glow, and Glacial Green.
Price and Availability
The company will be officially launching the device in the US on April 29th while in Europe, it will make its debut on April 21 which is within a week. The International availability date for the device has not been fixed yet as the globe as a whole is currently facing a huge panic situation in this COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully, it will soon hit other markets as soon as the pandemic loses its pace.
