Apple iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have arrived in the Nepali market. The pro variants feature a 120Hz OLED display, A15 Bionic chip, and an improved camera system. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, availability, and price of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in Nepal. 

Apple iPhone 13 Pro starts at Rs.1,74,900 for the base 128GB model while the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at Rs.1,89,900 for the same 128GB base variant.

Design and Display

The Pro models of the iPhone 13 come with Super Retina XDR that support variable refresh rates of between 10Hz and 120Hz. It has a daytime brightness of 1000 nits and 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness. The panels also support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG standards. Both the device measures 7.65mm thick and are IP68 rated dust/water-resistant. It has a Ceramic Shield front, textured matte glass back, and stainless steel frames.

Performance

Moving on to the processor, both the Pro models feature the A15 Bionic with a five-core GPU, claimed to be faster and more power-efficient than last year’s A14 Bionic chip. This 5nm chip has a 6 core CPU with two high-performance and four new high-efficiency cores. The device comes with up to 1TB of storage and runs on Apple’s iOS 15.

Camera

For optics, there is a triple camera setup of three 12-megapixel sensors. There is a new 77mm telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, an ultra-wide camera that can now take macro shots at up to 2cm from a subject, and a primary wide camera with an f/1.5 aperture and 1.9um sensor pixels. Upfront is a 12-megapixel TrueDepth selfie camera that supports the Centre Stage feature. Sensor-shift optical image stabilization and new Cinematic mode are included in both models.

Battery and Others

Apple promises 1.5 hours better battery life on the iPhone 13 Pro compared to iPhone 12 Pro and 2.5 hours better battery on the iPhone 13 Pro Max compared to iPhone 12 Pro Max. 5G performance has also been upgraded with support for more bands. Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a Lightning port.
