Infinix recently unveiled its Concept Phone 2021 that joins the race of fast charging with a 160-watt fast charging. The company showcased the 160-watt fast charging on the smartphone can fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 10 minutes. The new Ultra Flash Charge system of Infinix uses an 8C battery. The latter has 18% lower internal resistance compared to a 6C battery. The newly developed Super Charge Pump converts incoming voltage from the USB-C port to the voltage that goes into the battery with 98.6% efficiency. The charger itself uses Gallium Nitrate (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) that makes the adapters compact and highly efficient.

Dealing with heat are 20 temperature sensors on the Concept Phone 2021, which ensures the phone stays under 40-degree celsius. The sensors when detecting a higher voltage or electromagnetic interference will launch one or several of 60 security protection mechanisms to protect the phone. Apart from 160-watt fast charging, Concept Phone also supports 50-watt wireless charging.
