Black Shark 4 arrives in global market at $499 | Price, Specifications, and Features

Xiaomi about a couple of weeks ago launched its Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro gaming smartphone in the Chinese market. Now the non-pro model of the device the Black Shark 4 has made its appearance in the global market as the device is available for pre-order and will go on an open sale starting May 6. In this post, we will be looking at the Black Shark 4 price in Nepal along with all the specifications and features that come with this gaming device.

Black Shark 4 Overview

Starting with the design of the Black Shark 4, the device comes with a horizontal camera module at the back and a center punch-hole cutout at the front. Weighing at 210 grams and with physical pop-up gaming triggers, the Black Shark 4 does reflect its gaming identity.

Talking about the display, you get a 6.67-inch HDR10+ Super AMOLED panel capable of 144Hz of refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. With a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels the brightness of the device peaks at 1300 nits. Samsung’s E4 panel is used in the Black Shark 4.

Moving on to the processor, the Black Shark 4 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 870G chipset. You can pair the device with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device operates on Joy UI 12.5 on top of Android 11. With a two-layered liquid cooling system, the company claims it can reduce the temperature by 18-degree.

For the camera, you get a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary, an 8MP 120-degree ultrawide, and a 5MP macro sensor. At the front is a 20MP selfie camera capable of taking 1080p videos at 30fps whereas the rear camera setup can take up to 4K videos at up to 60fps.

The whole device is powered by a 4500mAh battery capable of 120W of fast charging but the global variant comes only with a 67W power brick. Further, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, connectivity of Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

BlackShark 4 will go on an open sale starting May 6 in the global market where it is priced at $499 for the 8/128GB variant and $599 for the 12/256GB variant. If the BackShark 4 makes its way to the Nepali market we expect the device to start at around Rs. 60,000.
