Asus has just announced the new S-series of the Asus ROG Phone 5, which was launched in April of this year. The new ROG Phone 5s series brings some major upgrades to the Asus ROG Phone 5 series. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, price, and availability of the Asus ROG Phone 5s in Nepal.

Asus ROG Phone 5s Overview

Asus ROG Phone 5s is the replacement for the Asus ROG Phone 5. Talking about the upgrades, the major upgrade ROG Phone 5s brings is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset. The chipset has a 3.0 GHz prime core (up from 2.84 GHz) and the AI engine also gets a 20% boost delivering 32 TOPS (up from 26 TOPS).

Asus has also upgraded the touch response rate from 300Hz to 360Hz on the ROG Phone 5s.

Apart from these changes, the new Asus ROG Phone 5s is identical to the ROG Phone 5. It has the same 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It gets its juice from the same 6000 mAh battery that supports 65-watt fast charging.

You get the same triple camera setup of 64MP main, 13MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro sensors, along with a 24MP front-facing camera on the device. Even the dimension, design, and size of the smartphones are identical to the ROG Phone 5.

Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro Overview

Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro is the replacement for both ROG Phone 5 Pro/Ultimate. Unlike the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, the ROG Phone 5s Pro isn’t a limited-edition variant. It features the color-enabled “ROG Vision” PMOLED display on the rear like the ROG Phone 5 Pro. It features two extra touch sensors on the rear similar to both the Pro and Ultimate models.

Like the vanilla ROG PHone 5s, the major upgrade on the Pro variant is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset and improved touch response rate from 300Hz to 360Hz. Further, the Pro gets upgraded to 18GB LPDDR5 of RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The rest of the spec sheet is similar throughout the ROG Phone 5 series. That means it has the same 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. A triple camera setup of 64MP main, 13MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro sensors, along with a 24MP front-facing camera on the device.
