<p>Tesla has recently posted its annual profit record of 2019 which depicts the highest-ever sales by the firm than ever before. Tesla has generated a revenue of <strong>$24.6 billion</strong> in 2019 which is the highest-ever revenue generated by the firm.</p>
<p>However, coming on to the annual profit, the firm was not quite able to perform well as it <strong>lost $862 million</strong> in 2019 which, in fact, is quite less than 2019 loss which was $1 billion. The company pulled down a $105 million profit in the fourth quarter, though that was boosted by the sale of $133 million worth of regulatory credits to other automakers, The Verge writes.</p>
<p>According to CNN, Tesla posted a profit of $386 million across the last three months of 2019. However, considering the previous year (2018) loss of 1 billion, the firm had to bear lesser losses this year.</p>
<p>Tesla had spent around $412 million on enhancing its fixed assets such as land, buildings, manufacturing equipment and also for Q4 while this was 7% higher expenditure compared to that for Q3, the year earlier.</p>

<p>While this year too, the firm has been manufacturing giant factories at two different countries, one in China which is nearing completion while the other is in Berlin which might be finalized at the end of 2020.</p>
<p>Although Tesla still stands on the line to make huge profits, the firm&rsquo;s daily operations and consistent planning depict that it might soon be able to turn huge profits in the near future.</p>

<p>Earlier this month, Tesla became America&rsquo;s first $100 billion publicly listed car maker where its stock price surpassed over $550 per share.</p>
<p>The Chinese Tesla plant has currently been assembling Model 3 while it will soon be working on the upcoming Model Y too. The firm has also revealed that it has already started the production of the Model Y in Fremont, California. While after the Model Y launch, Tesla expects to surpass the sales of 500,000 units in 2020, more than 3,60,000 sales in 2019.</p>

<p>Well, things might turn around this year, as everyone has huge expectations from the firm&rsquo;s upcoming models: Model Y compact SUV and the monstrous metal Cybertruck which was earlier unveiled by the firm. Let&rsquo;s hope that the firm will be able to turn on good profits this year.</p>
