Samsung recently unveiled 5 new Galaxy A-series smartphones for the Indian market. Most of the smartphones in the series fall under the mid-range segment (INR 20,000 - 45,000), a segment that has seen remarkable growth in India in recent times. And according to a recent report, Samsung is aiming to capture a large chunk of the Indian mid-tier smartphone market in 2022 with its latest A-series smartphones.&nbsp;
Aditya Babbar, Senior Director and Marketing Head for Samsung India, talking to <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/business/business-news/samsung-eyes-40-share-in-indias-mid-tier-smartphone-market-1096089.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Deccan Herald</a>, said that the company wants to capture a 40% share of the Indian mid-tier smartphone market in the first half of 2022. Currently, the company holds a 28% share in this category, which is an 87% YoY growth than 2020. Samsung is also looking to expand its consumer credit program in India after seeing a huge demand. India being a price-sensitive market, the company first introduced this lending platform three years ago.&nbsp;
