Kia's latest 7-seater capacity SUV Carens is set to arrive in Nepal in April. Continental Trading, the sole distributor for Kia vehicles in Nepal has confirmed the launch of the MPV soon.
Acquiring good sales in the Indian market, the Kia Carens has proved to be a well-known SUV in Nepal as well.
The company is preparing to bring four different variants of Kia Carens to Nepal. The premium variant that has been made public at the lowest price in the Indian market will not come to Nepal at the first phase.
Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus variants are coming to Nepal. Continental Trading estimates that the starting price of Karens will be around Rs 50 lakhs in Nepal.

Engine Options?
The Kia Carens offer two petrol engine options- a 1.5L petrol unit churning out 115bhp power and 114 Nm of peak torque and a 1.4L turbo petrol engine delivering 140bhp power and 242 Nm peak torque. The 1.5L petrol unit only gets a 6-speed manual while the latter benefits from a 7-speed DCT option as well.
Additionally, a 1.4L diesel unit is also on the option. This one is offered with both manual and automatic gear transmission.
The car adopts a length of 4540 mm, a width of 1800 mm, a height of 1708 mm, and a wheelbase of 2780 mm. Also available in 8 color options are Imperial Blue, Moss Brown, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Gravity Gray, and Aurora Black Pearl.
The car has a large touchscreen infotainment system, while its lower variant includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Its instrument cluster will be fully digital and its steering wheel is inherited from younger brother-Seltos. It includes the new generation Kia Connect with 66 connected car features, Bose sound system, 8 speakers, and 64 colors of ambient lighting.
Other key features in the MPV include Car Smart Air Purifier, Ventilated Front Seat, Multi Drive Mode, Sunroof, Pedal Sifter, Wireless Charger, Cooling Cup Holder, 6 Airbags, ESC, VSM, HAC, DBC, BAS, All-Wheel Disc Brake, Highline Tire Pressure Monitoring System, rear parking sensors and more.
