<p><span data-contrast="auto">Earlier, excise duty&nbsp;was&nbsp;levied on plug-in hybrids and&nbsp;hybrids&nbsp;at different rates, but now on only<strong> 40% Excise Duty</strong> will be&nbsp;levied on&nbsp;both. Earlier, Hybrid vehicles were subjected to 60%&nbsp;Excise Duty.&nbsp;</span></p>
